| <b>More About The Verdict</b><br> <P>Fans around the world are celebrating tonight! Michael Jackson was cleared of ALL charges on Monday. </P> <P>The verdicts finally bring to a close the trauma of the past four months of trial and years of persecution. Fans outside the courtroom hugged, cried and screamed. White doves were released, one for each ?not guilty? verdict. </P> <P>Michael had walked into the courtroom accompanied by his mother, Katherine, father, Joseph, sisters LaToya and Janet, and brothers Tito and Jermaine. Michael looked as if he were walking in a dream; or rather, a nightmare. But it was a nightmare that was soon to end. Michael hugged his lawyers after the verdicts were read out. Judge Melville declared, ?Mr. Jackson, your bail is exonerated and you are released.? </P> <P>Michael still appeared shaken and stunned when he left the courthouse. He briefly held up his hand and blew a kiss at the fans before leaving in his motorcade. The defense team, likewise, had nothing to say to the media that had gathered from around the world. </P> <P>The jury deliberated for seven days before acquitting Michael. They considered testimony by 140 witnesses and over 600 items of evidence. A brief statement released by the jurors said they had "thoroughly and meticulously" studied the evidence in the case and asked the media to respect their privacy.</P>
